HOW TO MAKE NATURAL
How to Make Natural
Homemade Deodorant
Both of the recipes below work really well. I
prefer the softness of the first recipe, but if you
don’t have shea butter lying around, the second
recipe works just as well and has fewer
ingredients. You can customize your deodorant
to your scent preferences with essential oils, if
desired or omit them for an unscented version
Homemade Deodorant
with Shea Butter
Shea Butter Deodorant
Ingredients
3 T Coconut Oil
3 T Baking Soda
2 T Shea Butter
2 T Arrowroot (optional) or organic
cornstarch
Essential Oils (optional)
Note: You can get all the ingredients here .
Shea Butter Deodorant
Instructions
1. Melt shea butter and coconut oil in a
double boiler over medium heat until
barely melted. UPDATE: Combine in a
quart size glass mason jar with a lid
instead and place this in a small
saucepan of water until melted. This will
save your bowl and you can
just designate this jar for these type of
projects and not even need to wash it
out… This can also be done in the
microwave if you have one.
2. Remove from heat and add baking soda
and arrowroot (If you don’t have
arrowroot, use more baking soda or just
omit)
3. Mix well
4. Add essential oils and pour into a glass
container for storage. It does not need to
be stored in the fridge.
5. If you prefer, you can let it cool
completely and put into an old deodorant
stick for easier use, though it may melt
in the summer!
NOTE: It may take several hours to completely
harden and this process can be sped up by
putting in the fridge for a few minutes.
If you don’t have all those ingredients around,
or don’t want to wash a double boiler, this
recipe is faster and easier:

Why Use Natural
Deodorant?
I started this pursuit to avoid the Alzheimer’s
and breast cancer, but I’m a lifelong convert
because it works! No, really! I was the girl who
rejoiced when Secret Clinical Strength came out
before prom one year. I’ve had to use regular
deodorant a few times since I started the
natural, and it doesn’t work as well. Although
not an antiperspirant, it does seem to absorb a
lot of wetness.
After a few weeks of using natural, I noticed an
unexpected side effect… I wasn’t sweating as
much to begin with. Months later, and I notice
this even more!
I urge you to try making your own deodorant.
Even if you aren’t daunted by the ingredients in
your own deo, wouldn’t you feel better knowing
you weren’t putting anything on your skin that
you couldn’t eat (not that you would want to eat
shea butter!) If you do try it, let me know the
outcome!

ORGANIC AND NATURAL TAHITIAN SUNSCREEN BODY BUTTER
ORGANIC AND
NATURAL TAHITIAN
SUNSCREEN BODY
BUTTER
Shea butter has natural sunscreen
properties and anti-inflammatory agents.
What is not to love about coconut oil or its
exotic Polynesian version Monoi! Monoï
(pronounced Mah-noy) is an ancient
Tahitian word meaning “scented oil” in the
Reo-Maohi language. Monoï is widely used
among French Polynesians as a skin and
hair softener. Be careful, today’s
marketplace is rife with monoi oil
imitations. Authentic Tahitian monoi oil
follows a strict manufacturing code that
oversees the entire process from
handpicking the tiare flowers to storage and
shipping of the final product. This process
has been validated and protected by an
Appellation of Origin which was awarded to
Monoi de Tahiti on April 1, 1992. In this
recipe I use Zinc Oxyde which blocks both
UVA and UVB rays. As a food additive, zinc
oxide is on the U.S. FDA’s generally
recognized as safe but because they are
very limited studies. I would never use zinc
oxide or Titanium Dioxide in any other
cream than for the occasional sunscreen.
Avoid sun exposure between 10 am and
4pm.
Oil phase: 14 tablespoon total– (70%)
8 tablespoons organic shea butter
2 tablespoons organic non refined
coconut oil or monoi
4 tablespoons organic saflower oil
Water Phase: 2 tablespoon total – (10%)
2 Tablespoons Organic Aloe Vera Juice
Additive:
4 tablespoons Zinc Oxide – (20%)
equivalent to sfp 20
Directions
Melt the shea butter, coconut oil or monoi
and safflower oil in a double boiler on low
heat. At the same time add the aloe vera in
another double boiler to bring the aloe vera
to the same temperature as the oils.
Once melted take it off the heat and add the
zinc oxide to the oil phase, mix well then
add the aloe vera and start mixing with an
electric whip immediately. Mix well for 3
minutes. Once well melted put the
container in your freezer for 15 minutes.
Then whip the cold butter with the electric
whip until you achieve a fluffy and whipped
texture. You can put the butter back in the
freezer for 5 minutes and whip again for an
even more fluffier butter!

MAKING A TASSEL
MAKING A TASSEL
Tassels are fun embellishments that add texture and movement to any design. Learn how to make your own tassels with our fun and easy technique!
MATERIALS: Nylon Thread, Scissors, Beading Needles
You can pretty much use any cord or thread you wish to make a tassel.
PROCEDURE
Step 1: Decide the length you want your tassel to be. Since I will be wrapping the thread around my fingers I figured out that two fingers would be perfect for an inch long tassel. Wrap the thread loosely around your fingers at least 15 times. (The more wraps you create the thicker your tassel will be.)
Step 2: Once you are satisfied with the amount of wraps you have. You can trim the thread attached to the spool.
Step 3: Then carefully pull the wrapped thread from your fingers (or card stock) making sure to keep it looped.
Step 4: Cut a second pieces of thread about 2 inches long. This will hold the tassel loops in place at the top of the tassel.
Step 5: Guide the 2 inch piece of thread through the top of the loop created in step 3.
Step 6: Pull that piece of thread tight and straighten out the loops of the tassel. If you make the thread smooth now, the top of your tassel will look smoother at the end.
Step 7: Make a single knot at the top of the tassel.
Step 8: Make a second knot at the top of the tassel. This is called a square knot. You can see how to make one here.
Step 9: Cut a third piece of thread. This will be used to wrap around your tassel so it needs to be pretty long depending on how many wraps you want. I suggested at least 12 inches.
Step 10: Pull the tassel so it flattens out and all the threads are laying smoothly side by side.
Step 11: Take the thread you cut from step 9 and knot it around the tassel, near the top. Leave one side long and the other side the same length as the tassel.
Step 12: Pull the long side of the knotted thread up besides the top part of the tassel so it runs parallel to all other threads.
Step 13: Loop that thread under the tassel. Then loop it over the tassel. Continue in this way, under and over, at least 5 times, to create a secure wrap around the top part of your tassel.
Step 14: Thread the long end of the thread from Step 9 with a needle.
Step 15: Guide the needle underneath the wraps made in Step 13 to secure the loose thread. You can then trim this so it's the same length as the tassel.
Step 16: Your tassel is now constructed so trim the threads from Step 13.
Step 17: Trim through the loop you made in Step 3, so all the threads are now loose from each other.
Step 18: Trim the bottom of your tassel to even the thread lengths out.
Viola! You have made a pretty little tassel!
KLM Cares

TYPES

Green garisa

Screw driver
Pinacolada
e.t.c
Today's course:-
Chapman cocktail
This is a cocktail because of the presence of angostura sitters in it. It is also an every party drink as clients especially request for it.
Recipes
1/4cup of grenaldine red
1/3cup of fanta
1/3cup of sprite
Drops of angostura bitter
Ice cube
Preparation:-
*put 1/2 filled ice cubes in a cup
*add 1/4grenaldine red
*add 1/3measure of sprite and fanta equally
*add drops of angostura bitter
*ice cube
NOTE
If u are using ribena or black currant, simply fill to the base of the cup.
This is because the colour must be red not black.
Grenaldine red gives the best glowing red colour.
Angostura sitters can also be replaced with aperito/campari but the standard recipe is angostura bitters. The aroma alone is so inviting and second to none. It must be add in drops until you are satisfied with taste but don't over add because it's very expensive(3500-4500).
Also for events or commercial purpose always use black currant because of the cost implication, ice cube is very important especially for big events and taste because ice helps reduce the quantity of drinks poured into cups thereby giving more profit.

Coconut Oil Food
Coconut Oil Food Uses
1. Cooking at High Heat (Sauteing and Frying) – Coconut oil is great for cooking at a high heat because of its high smoke point. Many other oils like olive oil can oxidize when heated but because coconut oil is made up of healthy saturated fats it remains stable under high temperatures.
2. “Buttering Your Toast” – For breakfast in the morning, try spreading coconut oil on your sprouted grain bread, instead of conventional butter. The slight coconut flavor, more pronounced in the unrefined coconut oils, lends a lovely aroma and taste to your toast.
3. Natural Energy Booster – The medium chain triglycerides in coconut oil, when partnered with chia seeds, will give you an energy boost when you need a mid-afternoon pickup, or after a strenuous workout. Chia seeds are known to boost performance, and endurance while the coconut oil aids in digestion and metabolizing of the chia seeds. Mix 1 tablespoon coconut oil with ½ tablespoon of chia seeds, and enjoy from the spoon, or spread on sprouted grain bread.
4. Creamer for Your Coffee – Adding a spoonful of coconut oil to your coffee can give you an extra boost of energy and replace dairy creamer. If you put your hot coffee in a blender, with the coconut oil and your favorite natural sweetener, and blend, you will be amazed at the rich creamy flavor, without adding any dairy. In the Far East, many athletes blend their morning coffee with coconut oil and grass-fed ghee to increase performance and energy.
5. Chocolate Coconut Fondue – Enjoy dipping fresh fruit into dark chocolate? Well, by using coconut oil, dark chocolate has never been healthier, or easier. Slowly melt 1 tablespoon of coconut oil and 2 cups of chopped dark chocolate (preferably 70% cacao) together over low heat in a double boiler, stirring occasionally. If mixture is too tight, add a touch more coconut oil and stir until warm and melted. Transfer to a fondue pot, and dip with even more health-promoting foods like fresh strawberries, bananas, and sliced apples.
6. Boost Nutrients in Smoothies – Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of coconut oil to any fruit smoothie for a boost of cholesterol fighting compounds. Side benefit? It improves the texture and mouth feel of smoothies, while adding healthy fats to your diet.
