NATURAL RED
LIPSTICK RECIPE –
HOW TO DO YOUR
OWN MAKE UP
Making your own organic lipstick is easier
than ever – 10 minutes max, that’s all you
really need. A red lipstick for all those days
where you want to feel more sexy and bold!
Natural Emulsifier
1 tspof organic beeswax pellets
Oil phase
1 tsp organic shea butter
1 tsp of organic grapeseed oil
Red color:
1/8 tsp russet iron oxide
1/8 tsp of honey beige mica
1/8 tsp of antique rose mica
Essential oils (optional):
3 drops of peppermint EO
Yield : 3 lip balm tubes
Directions:
Melt the beeswax, oil and grapeseed oil
together on low heat in a double boiler.
Once melted remove from heat, add the
iron oxyde and mica and blend together
with a manual whip. Pour right away in
small lip balm containers before it starts to
harden completely. If it has already started
to harden, put the bowl back in the double
boiler and melt again until you can pour
back in the lip balm containers.
