HOW TO PREPARE YOUR FAVORITE EGUSI SOUP (MELON SOUP)

EGUSI SOUP (MELON SOUP)
Egusi soup is a kind of soup thickened with the ground egusi seed and we have the friend and the unfriend egusi soup.

FRIED EGUSI SOUP
Ingredient
Egusi
Meat/fish
Pepper
Palm oil
Tomatoes
Onions
Maggi
Salt
Water
Ugu
Biter leaf
kpomo

Methods:
Dry your cooking pot; add palm oil heat for 2-3minutes.
Add onion and allow to heat for about 20 seconds and add the grounded melon (Egusi) that is mix with little water stir well and leave on fire for 5minutes. Stir again. To form more balls.
Add you grinded, pepper, tomatoes, and crayfish and stir again cover to cook for 5minutes.
Add meat and fish. Kpomo etc. and stir add salt and magi to taste.
Add the pumpkin vegetable (ugu) cook for 5minute.
Finally add your bitter leaf and simmer for 2minutes. Then put out heat and serve.

UNFRIED EGUSI SOUP
Ingredient
Egusi
Meat/fish
Pepper
Palm oil
Tomatoes
Onions
Maggi
Salt
Water
Ugu
Biter leaf
kpomo

Methods:
Grind the melon, tomatoes, fresh pepper and cray fish, mix together
Boil your meat/fish and kpomo etc. and collect the water
Dry your cooking pot; add palm oil and heat.
Add onion, a little bit of salt, add water and mix the grinded melon, fresh pepper, tomatoes, and crayfish and stir together
Add water from the boiled meat/fish and cook for some times to thicker.
Add meat and fish. Kpomo and cook further.
Add your salt and magi to taste.
Add the pumpkin vegetable leaves (ugu) cook for a minute.
Finally add your washed bitter leaf and simmer for 2minutes. (Add salt and maggi if necessary).
Then put out heat and serve.
